Everyone is welcome

No financial or investment experience is needed. No minimum salary requirements. If you have been employed here for 6 months (i.e. as at 31st July 2026), you're able to join - it really is that simple.

It's government backed

Sharesave is a government-approved plan that has been helping thousands of UK employees to build real wealth for over 40 years. Tried, tested and fully regulated.

Low risk

In terms of growth, there is no guarantee and so the proof will be in the pudding in 3 years' time, but simply put, if the share price rises in that time, you gain. If it doesn't, then you get back every penny with a bonus on top. So, either way, you win!

The share price is locked in

The Compass Group PLC option price is locked in for the full 3 years and we'll even include a discount on that option price as an additional helping! So if the share price rises in that time, you'll take advantage of buying shares at the original locked and discounted price.

Your bonus is tax free!

At the end of your 3 years, you'll receive a bonus on top of your savings - and what's more, you won't pay a penny of tax on that bonus!

You're in control

Need to stop paying in at any time? No problem. Pause your payments once every 12 months and for up to 12 months across the three-year period; or withdraw your cash saved so far - no penalties and no questions asked.

It takes care of itself

Your savings are deducted automatically from your net pay (i.e. pay after tax). So, nothing to manage or remember - just sit back and let your savings grow.

Please note that it is intended that Compass Group Sharesave will operate on an annual basis, so once the enrolment window closes on 6th July 2026, there will be another chance to join next year, subject to ongoing Board approval.

* Eligibility criteria apply. Open to Group and UK&I employees who are tax resident in the UK or the Republic of Ireland, and who are paid through the main Compass UK, Compass Ireland or Compass Group payroll. Colleagues must have completed at least 6 months’ service as at 31st July 2026.
